Agility is the fastest growing canine sport. Dog/handler teams race against the clock and other teams through obstacle courses including jumps, tunnels, teeter-totters and weave poles. In the agility classes our instructors will show you tips and tricks on doing safe, fast and fun agility all in our fully matted, indoor, temperature
controlled facility. Classes include: Puppy Agility,
Obedience for Agility (4-week course), Agility Foundations, Agility I, Agility II, Agility III.
Our instructors also train in other canine sports and are able to bring training tips and tricks from
those venues as well.

Puppy Agility Classes
Puppy Agility Designed especially for the “little guys,” this six week course is a great way to build confidence in your pup! This class teaches attention, teamwork skills (for both you and the pup!), and safe and appropriate ground work for agility. Puppies should already have completed a puppy training & socialization class, any beginning-level obedience class, or Obedience for Agility. Highly recommended for toy breeds. For puppies one year and under.

Agility Workshops
Held as needed for single topics (weaves, contact obstacles, etc.) Workshops will have limited registration and will be held on a single day or night for 1 1/4 hours.

This workshop is for dogs completing or near completion of Foundations Agility who are at least 12 months old. Learn how to easily and safely help your dog learn how to negotiate increased height, angles, and turns while developing good muscle tone and core strength. Limited enrollment.

Advanced Weaves Friday, May 17th
For dogs that are relatively consistent with six poles. You do not have to be competing or ready to compete to benefit from this workshop.
Beginning Weaves Friday, March 22nd and July 12th
For dogs who are not yet able to weave six poles, including dog/handler teams ready to begin weave training. No experience necessary.

This workshop is for dogs beginning contact training or those who need experience on equipment. Problems with running contacts or 2-on-2-off will be addressed as needed. Dogs attending should have a good understanding of "stay." Limited enrollment.
- Agility Workshop! Toy Play & Drive
- Friday, April 12th and May 3rd
- 6:30 - 7:45 p.m.
- $35.00 per dog/handler team.
This workshop is for dogs and handlers who have not yet discovered the joy and drive play brings to training or who want to improve their dog's performance and drive. If your dog does not "play on command" this workshop is for you! Dogs of any age can benefit from this workshop. Bring treats and toys. Limited enrollment.
BOX WORK Friday, June 28th
Box Work is a staple of good handling. It is especially useful for helping handlers to improve timing and for dogs to understand collection as well as the skills we can work on “in the box” situation. Working straight, 90 degree turns, 180 and 270 degree turns, wraps, threadles, pushing to the backside of a jump and moving past a jump without taking it can all be practiced with a simple box. Double-box work provides even more challenges! For dogs and handlers in Agility II and III.

Focus Class

Designed to train your canine partner to be a relaxed, confident, and focused dog when working off leash.
Learn how to turn stress to confidence and distraction to focus using methods that are 100% positive. Based on Leslie McDevitt's versatile Control Unleashed® program and Susan Garrett's amazing training techniques, our class is designed to help dogs learn how to relax, focus, and work off-leash reliably in either stimulating or stressful situations.
