    Puppy Agility Classes

Agility is a great way to build confidence in your pup! Puppy Agility I teaches rapt attention, teamwork skills (for both you and the pup!), and safe, low-to-the-ground obstacle familiarization.  Puppies should already have completed a puppy training & socialization class, have basic obedience skills, and be under one year of age.

Puppy Agility II will teach you safe agility exercises and let you practice short runs designed specifically for puppies.

Agility I is a 6-week "getting started" class for dogs one year and older. The class covers agility obstacle familiarization and basic handling skills for the dog and handler. Dogs should have a solid sit, down, stay, and recall (come!) before starting class.

Agility II is a six-week class for beginners who have completed Agility I reading course maps, strategies, and teamwork skills with your dog.

Agility III adds more complexity to the agility courses. You will practice short courses and thought-provoking handling skills designed for the enthusiastic beginner.

Agility Foundations will help you build attention, teamwork, and drive using toys and play. You will learn targeting, body language, body pressure, and other agility handling skills.  These are not "play" classes, although you and your dog will have a lot of fun.  The class is geared toward dog/handler teams who hope to move on into competition.  Skills learned in Foundations will strengthen, clarify, and compliment what you have learned in I, II, and III.  Co-enrollment is encouraged!
