Rally Obedience is sweeping the obedience scene! At the judge's command of "forward", the dog/handler team heels throughout a course of "stations", each with a different challenge. Unlimited communication from handler to dog is encouraged and not penalized.

Rally Obedience is now offered by several venues, including APDT and as a titling class by AKC as of 2005. There are three levels - Novice, Advanced and Excellent. In the future these will become titling classes, with three qualifying scores at each level earning the title for that level.

Rally is a great way to ease into the world of competitive obedience, and also improves your dog's heeling skills.  A fun, low pressure, dog sport for you to enjoy!

Rally O Run-Throughs

This is a drop-in opportunity to practice different Rally-O courses Every Saturday Evening at 5:00 PM. A supervisor will be on hand to answer questions, but students should come understanding the Rally-O basics.

 

Time:       Saturday nights at  5:00 PM

Number of runs:   25 total (first come, first served) (no pre-registration)

Cost:       (1) run -- $5

                (2) runs - $8
