Diane Peters Mayer, M.S.W., is a psychotherapist and performance anxiety coach in private practice in Doylestown, PA, with a masters degree in clinical social work.

Diane is the author of: articles in Clean Run Magazine; Conquering Ring Nerves: A Step-by-Step Program for all Dog Sports, Howell/Wiley, 2004; The Everything Health Guide to Controlling Anxiety, 2005; Overcoming School Anxiety AMACOM, July, 2008.

Participants learn exercises and techniques, then practice what they’ve learned with their dogs throughout the day in simulated show situations. This is an intense learning program. Because of its interactive nature of and individualized practice time, the number of working participants is limited to 25. There is no limit on auditors.

Practice time is split approximately 40% without dogs and 60% with dogs. The program is beneficial for the novice as well as seasoned competitor.

The Conquering Ring Nerves Program contains exercises and techniques adapted from a number of disciplines including: psychology, yoga/meditation, breath work, theater arts, and sports psychology.
